DUI INFORMATION
In Florida you only have 10 DAYS to schedule a DHSMV hearing. If you do not schedule your hearing within 10 days of your arrest, your driver’s license will automatically be suspended for up to 18 months. It is important that you call the Law Office of Saban & Solomon immediately so we can begin fighting your case. We handle DUI's and all other criminal matters in Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach Counties.
YOU ONLY HAVE 10 DAYS TO REQUEST A DHSMV HEARING
The DHSMV hearing will determine whether or not you will be issued a hardship license to drive for work and school purposes only. The hearing will be governed by a DHSMV official who will determine the outcome of your case. This official will listen to evidence presented by your attorney. At the end of the hearing the DHSMV official will make a determination based on the evidence presented before him or her. If the DHSMV official rules in your favor, then your driving privileges will be spared. If the representative rules against you, then your driver’s license will be suspended for an extended period of time.
The DHSMV hearing will only determine whether you or not your drivers license will be suspended.. This hearing has no effect on any criminal proceedings which will follow.
The criminal process is a very serious and time intensive process. Let our attorneys fight for your rights and protect your civil liberties.
